Section 01

Privacy Policy

WordCurrentMedia (“we”, “us”) processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights.

What we collect. When you submit an onboarding brief, email us, or call the studio, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, project requirements, and any files you voluntarily share. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider; we never see or store full card numbers.

Why we process it. Personal data is processed to: (a) respond to inquiries and prepare quotations under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; (b) deliver contracted copywriting services; (c) maintain accounting and tax records under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR; and (d) send occasional service-related notices under our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f).

Retention. Briefs and correspondence are retained for the duration of negotiations plus three years. Invoices and accounting records are kept for six years as required by Spanish tax law. You may request earlier deletion where no legal obligation requires retention.

Recipients. Data is shared only with processors who support our operations (hosting, email, payment) under Article 28 processing agreements. We do not sell, rent, or broker personal data. Transfers outside the EEA occur only with adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights. You may access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing by writing to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at aepd.es.

Section 02

Terms of Service

These terms govern engagements between WordCurrentMedia, 28004, C. Clavel, 19 P02 0004, Madrid, Madrid, Spain, and the client named on the accepted quotation or statement of work.

Scope & acceptance. Each engagement begins when the client confirms a quotation in writing or settles the first invoice. Scope, deliverable counts, revision rounds, and timelines are fixed in that quotation; material changes require a written change order.

Fees & payment. Prices are quoted in USD or EUR as stated. Unless agreed otherwise, 50% of the fee is due at kickoff and the balance before final file delivery. Invoices are payable within 14 calendar days. Late amounts accrue 1.5% monthly interest and may suspend active work after written notice.

Delivery & revisions. Turnaround clocks start when we receive complete inputs (brief, brand assets, source material). Each module includes the revision rounds stated in its description; additional rounds are billed at the then-agreed hourly rate.

Intellectual property. Upon receipt of full payment, all rights in the final delivered copy specific to the client’s project transfer to the client worldwide. WordCurrentMedia retains ownership of pre-existing frameworks, templates, and generic methodologies, and may reference the client’s name and public project outline in its portfolio unless the client opts out in writing.

Client responsibilities. The client warrants that materials supplied are accurate and non-infringing, and must review drafts within five business days of each milestone. Delayed feedback extends delivery dates day-for-day.

Confidentiality. Both parties will keep non-public commercial information confidential for three years after engagement end. WordCurrentMedia will sign a mutual NDA upon request at no charge.

Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, either party’s aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or obligations that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including consumer rights under Directive 2011/83/EU where applicable.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Madrid, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of the client’s country of residence.

Section 03

Cookie Policy

This site uses a minimal set of cookies and local storage entries, consistent with the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.

Essential storage. We store a single local entry (cookie_accepted) in your browser to remember that you dismissed the consent banner. This is strictly necessary and does not require consent. We may also store your onboarding selections locally so your configurator session survives a page refresh; this data never leaves your device.

Third-party content. The contact page embeds a Google Map. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads; the embed is loaded on demand. Payment pages are served by our payment provider under their own cookie notices.

No tracking. WordCurrentMedia does not run advertising pixels, cross-site trackers, or behavioral profiling cookies on this site.

Your controls. You can clear stored entries at any time through your browser settings; clearing cookie_accepted will restore the consent banner. Questions? Write to [email protected].

Section 04

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We keep refunds straightforward because scope and price are agreed before work starts.

Cooling-off (EU consumers). If you are an EU consumer contracting at a distance, you have 14 days from kickoff confirmation to withdraw. If work has already begun at your express request, a pro-rata deduction for work performed is retained, as permitted by Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU.

Milestone refunds. If we miss a contracted delivery date by more than ten business days for reasons within our control, you may cancel the remaining scope and receive a refund of fees for undelivered milestones, less the value of work already completed.

Satisfaction revisions. Every module includes its stated revision rounds. If a deliverable still materially deviates from an agreed brief after those rounds, we will rewrite the non-conforming sections once at no charge.

Non-refundable items. Completed and approved milestones, rush fees already incurred, third-party costs (e.g. specialized research access), and retainers for months already started are non-refundable once the corresponding work has been delivered.

How to request. Email [email protected] from the address on file with the subject “Refund request” and your invoice reference. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.

By continuing to Stage 3, you acknowledge that you have reviewed these disclosures.
